Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview build 10586.107 released on the Slow ring

-

has pushed out Insider Preview build 10586.107 to Slow ring Insiders, just one day after sending it to the Fast ring.

The company is obviously speeding up with a more rapid update cycle which results not only in more frequent releases on the Fast ring.

Also the time-gap until new builds make their way to Slow ring users seems to get smaller and smaller.

How Microsoft manages to get the necessary feedback on stability and severe bugs on this shorter update cycles remains unknown.

Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview build 10586.107 does not provide any major feature upgrades and just brings the typical bug-fixes:

  • “Fixed an issue where in some cases a device could be missing tiles on the Start screen after going through the device out of box experience.
  • Improved support in Narrator to speak in multiple languages.
  • Improvements to the device reset experience when BitLockerDevice Encryption is enabled by enterprise policy or by the user.”

Together with this latest preview build, Microsoft also adds a third option for Windows Insiders in addition to the existing Fast and Slow rings.

The new ‘Release Preview ring' will offer early access to updates for the Current Branch of Windows 10 development as Microsoft explains here.
