HCL Technologies and Microsoft are building an IoT Incubation Center in Redmond

HCL Technologies, a global IT services company from India plans to utilize the capabilities of Microsoft Azure IoT Suite to access real-time analytics, sensory data and rapid co-creation, accelerating enterprise-level adoption of IoT.  

The HCL Incubation Center in Redmond, Washington, USA will focus on improved growth in two keys business areas – Life Sciences & Healthcare and Industrial & Manufacturing.

The two tech giants plan to embed IoT technology in the fields of Industrial Automation, Fleet Management, Remote Patient Monitoring and more.

Microsoft has restructured the Azure cloud platform to adopt with the needs of IoT technologies, and the company recently made Azure IoT Hub publicly available, which is a cross-platform messaging system for IoT devices.

HCL Technologies is banking on its Engineering and Product Lifecycle Management, Systems Integration and Infrastructure Services, along with Microsoft’s growing expertise in the rapidly growing IoT sector.

According to HCL´s Sukamal Banerjee the company iss confident that the Incubation Center with Microsoft’s support will help create solutions which are “scalable, cost-effective and focused on user experience”.
