
Microsoft Lumia 550 is now on sale in Europe at a price of $139 USD. The smartphone will be available on other regions around the globe in the upcoming weeks.
Microsoft´s Lumia 550 runs on Windows 10, with signature Microsoft Apps and services such as Microsoft Office, Cortana, OneDrive, Outlook Mail and Outlook Calendar and Skype. The device connects using 4G LTE reaching download speeds of up to 150 Mbps and uploads of up to 50 Mbps.
The Lumia 550's 4.7” LCD display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. You can choose between matte black or glossy white color.
Microsoft's new phone features a 5MP rear-facing camera supported by a single LED flash and a front camera with 2 megapixels. It is capable of taking 720p videos at 30 FPS and supports continuous autofocus.
Bonus new and functional Microsoft apps
Microsoft Edge is also present replacing the old Explorer as the default browser. The Lumia 550 also offers Microsoft´s Cortana voice assistant which help to search information, launch apps or get reminders for appointments.
