Xbox consoles break records for Black Friday sales

As the most awaited Christmas shopping season, Black Friday week helped Xbox and other products to hit a new sales record. Lineups of exclusives in Xbox and bundles made the consoles eminent over the holiday season.

Worldwide Xbox Black Friday sales in the Xbox Store got a record-breaking increase of 57% across and Xbox 360. Both consoles had also increased by 55% in terms of total paid unique users in the Xbox Store.

Xbox One console sales at retail were up 22% compared to their previous record last year. Xbox One 500GB Gears of War: Ultimate Edition bundle was the best-selling Xbox console bundle so far.

Gamers were able to get the Xbox One Black Friday 2015 deal for $299 which included Gears of War: Ultimate EditionFallout 4 and an extra controller.

The Xbox Store also reached new records with a 55% increase of total paid unique users across Xbox One and Xbox 360. Gamers have logged in for more than 4 million hours playing Xbox 360 games on Xbox One since the release of backward compatibility on Nov. 12.

Gaming on Windows 10 sees strong increase

Just four months after its release, has exceeded Windows 8's number of gaming hours for the first time in the month of November. So far, gamers have streamed over 5 million hours of Xbox One games to Windows 10 PCs with Fallout 4 as the most frequent game streamed.

Nearly 30% of Steam players came from Windows 10 in November, overpowering numbers of Steam players from OSX and Linux. 20% of all non-mobile devices are now running on Windows 10, which is a 100% increase from 3 months ago.

The holiday season made a great impact on Xbox's numbers in terms of sales, user percentages and consumer satisfaction. Microsoft seems to make a good impression to Xbox fans as well as other Microsoft consumers with their frequent announcements and product launches.
