On its devices event Microsoft has revealed the new Surface Pro 4 featuring 12.3 inches, a reduced bezel and a a 267 ppi screen with 5 million pixels.
The Surface Pro 4 It is powered by Intel 6th Gen Skylake processors offering improved battery life and performance over last gen models.
According to Microsoft the newest Surface Pro uses “the thinnest optical stackup that anyone can ship”, using 0.4 mm Gorilla Glass. Thickness has been lowered to 8.4mm.

Part of the new device is also an improved Surface Pro 4 pen with one year guaranteed battery life. The magnetic pen uses 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity and can be attached outside of the tablet so it won´t get lost.
Performance and Connectivity
Speed-wise the Surface Pro 4 is 30% faster than the Surface Pro 3, and 50% faster than the MacBook Air.
Regarding connectivity, the Surface Pro 4 has four USB 3.0 ports, two 4k DisplayPorts to connect it to big screens and an Ethernet plug.
A once again improved type cover will also be made available.
Pre-Orders will be taken from tomorrow on, shipments will start October 26th when you will able to order different editions with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD. Pricing starts at $899 for entry level model.
