based, Vaio Z Canvas Signature Edition 2-in-1 PC is now available for pre-orders for US buyers. The new notebook switches seamlessly into different modes, and is available for purchase at the Microsoft store with a price tag of $2,199.00.

The versatility of VAIO Z Canvas extends from its detachable keyboard to built-in freestyle kickstand, and is further complimented by 4th Generation Intel Core i7-4770HQ processor clocked at 2.2GHz. It packs Intel Iris Pro Graphics 5200 with shared graphics memory, 8GB of DDR3 RAM and 256GB SSD.

The 12.3-inch WQXGA Wide Gamut display of Vaio Z Canvas features 95% coverage of Adobe RGB spectrum, and matches standard LCD monitor used by professionals. The digital stylus equipped with this device also includes various nib textures with different levels of pressure sensitivity. Vaio Canvas Z uses optical resin between the LCD and glass to minimize the distance where the nib senses the screen and where the actual writing shows up.
