-

Tipster Evan Blass aka @evleaks has posted a new render of Microsoft’s upcoming flagship Lumia 950XL. The press render gives a clear look at the polycarbonate body of the Lumia 950XL, and has come alongside CAD render of the device leaked by another leakster, @onleaks.

Microsoft’s product launch is just a few days away, and several leaks are coming in fast through different sources. According to the recently leaked CAD render, Lumia 950XL will be measuring 151.9 x 78.4 x 7.8mm. Its thickness will tip around 7.8mm, but near camera module it will increase up to 9.9mm.

As for specs, the Lumia 950 is expected to feature a 5.2-inch Quad-HD screen, powered by a hexacore Snapdragon 808 chipset, coupled with 3GB of RAM. The Windows-10 based device will feature a 20-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and will offer 32GB of on-board storage.

Snapdragon 810 power for 950XL

Lumia 950XL, on the other hand, will feature same innards except for the larger 5.7-inch Quad-HD display and the octa-core Snapdragon 810 chipset.

Not long before, exactly similar specs were revealed from an internal company presentation of the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950XL. The images from the presentation highlighted basic specs and the addition of USB-Type C standard and Qi wireless charging capabilities.

On October 6, Microsoft is expected to launch Lumia 950 and Lumia 950XL, alongside mid-range phone Lumia 550, Microsoft Band 2 and the Surface Pro 4 tablet. The smartphones with metal buttons will be coming in several color options, and but from here, there is barely anything left to unveil to about them.
