Microsoft's highly speculated Lumia 950 and 950XL are expected to show up on October 6, at a very competitive price tag. A Spanish retailer has listed both smartphones on his website at a price much below than that of Apple iPhone 6S and Samsung Galaxy S6.
According to the prices listed on ecomputer.es, the price of Lumia 950 will be 659 euro, while its big-screened variant, Lumia 950XL will get a slightly higher price tag of 749 euro. It also revealed that both Windows-10 based smartphones will be coming in dual-SIM variants as well.
The listing which has been removed, stated the dual-SIM variant of Lumia 950 will come with model number RM-1116, and Lumia 950XL will come with model number RM-1118. Their specifications have also been tipped on Windows Central, revealing a single storage variant with 32GB of on-board memory.
Furthermore, WM Power User revealed that the retail pricing of both flagships will include accessories like docking station and wireless charger, costing around 200 euro. Microsoft is also expected to launch a bunch of accessories for Lumia 950 and 950 XL buyers including a new wearable Microsoft Band 2, Bluetooth wireless speakers and NFC treasure tag.
However, the Spanish website did not clarify whether the prices of these phones includes the cost of free accessories or not. Compared with the prices of base models of Galaxy S6 and iPhone 6s, the price tag given to 32GB Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL is extremely impressive. But, it still remains to be seen, how the new Windows 10-based phones will go against leading flagships.
